Modern Slavery Statement
Introduction
Tresmontana Ltd maintains relationships with various organisations in its supply chain and employs a diverse workforce. In light of employment and human rights laws, particularly the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we have reviewed our compliance and risk management processes to assess existing measures and identify additional steps needed to prevent slavery and human trafficking in our operations and supply chains.

The following policy underpins our approach and informs our Statement on Slavery and Human Trafficking. Tresmontana Ltd has adopted a corporate value statement on preventing modern slavery and human trafficking, which governs all business dealings and the conduct of all persons or organisations we contract with or appoint to act on our behalf. We expect everyone with a business relationship with Tresmontana Ltd to familiarise themselves with our anti-slavery policy and consistently act in accordance with it.

At Tresmontana Ltd, we operate based on core values that reflect our relationships with customers, manufacturers, suppliers, and team members. These values include a firm stance against the exploitation of individuals, particularly under the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We are committed to opposing modern slavery in all forms and preventing it by any means necessary. We demand the same commitment from our employees and business partners, maintaining a zero-tolerance policy towards modern slavery.

Policy

Tresmontana Ltd will:

-
Maintain appropriate internal records to justify payments to third parties.
-
Encourage employees to raise concerns about any suspected malpractice as early as possible.
-
Ensure that anyone raising concerns about bribery will not suffer any detriment, even if mistaken.

Employee Responsibility
The ultimate responsibility for preventing modern slavery lies with the Company’s leadership. The Managing Director has overall responsibility for ensuring this policy and its implementation comply with legal and ethical obligations.
Employees at all levels must ensure their subordinates understand and comply with this policy and receive adequate and regular training on it and the issue of modern slavery.

Non-Compliance
We aim to encourage openness and will support anyone who raises genuine concerns in good faith under this policy, even if they turn out to be mistaken. We are committed to ensuring no one suffers any detrimental treatment as a result of reporting, in good faith, their suspicion that modern slavery is or may be taking place in any part of our business or supply chains.

Detrimental treatment includes dismissal, disciplinary action, threats, or other unfavorable treatment connected with raising a concern. The Company will accept and take seriously concerns communicated anonymously. However, retaining anonymity can render investigations and validation more difficult and make the process less effective. Therefore, individuals are encouraged to put their names to allegations.

Any claims or allegations found to be malicious or vexatious will result in disciplinary action against the individual.
Awareness Our zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery must be communicated to all suppliers, contractors, and business partners at the outset of our business relationship with them and reinforced as appropriate thereafter.

Reviewing Policy
This policy will be reviewed and revised as necessary in light of legislative changes, codes of practice, and organisational changes. We will make improvements to management by learning from experience and using established review processes.
